UniversalCall IP Phones & Adapters (GATEWAYS)
The following are IP phones and devices that have been tested
extensively for compatibility with the UniversalCall VoIP system.
You can purchase of any of these products that are right for
you at the UniversalCall Store. All phones shipped from UniversalCall
are fully configured. All you have to do is plug it into your
Local Area Network.
UniversalCall USB Phone
This firm phone is a lightweight handset styled after a cell
phone. It can be connected to a computer through USB and requires
a softphone (provided) to be installed before it can be used.
The softphone is very user friendly and easily configurable
and it gets the job done with only the need of a free USB
port on your computer and no additional power supply. Once
you have the softphone loaded you can just dial on the USB
phone dialpad or use your mouse to click on the numbers on
the softphone. The UniversalCall USB Phone is compatible with
Windows 2000 or XP.
Linksys Phone Adapter (PAP2)
The Linksys Phone Adapter enables use of our high-quality,
feature-rich telephone service through your cable or DSL Internet
connection. Just plug it into your home Router or Gateway
and use the two standard telephone jacks to connect your existing
phones or fax machines. Each phone jack operates independently,
with separate phone service and phone numbers -- like having
two phone lines.
Linksys Phone Adapter with Router (RT31P2)
The Linksys Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports is a kind
of "splitter" for your Internet connection. Just
connect your DSL or Cable Modem to the Router, and all the
computers in your home or office can share the Internet --
all at the same time. The built-in 3-port switch lets you
attach three local PCs directly, or daisy-chain out to more
hubs and switches as your network grows.
Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports
The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really four devices
in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which
lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at
54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the
network. There's also a built-in 3-port full-duplex 10/100
Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect
four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create
as big a network as you need. The Router function lets your
whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.
The fourth function is the phone adapter which enables high-quality
feature-rich telephone service through your high-speed connection
even while you're surfing the Internet. There are two standard
telephone jacks, each operating independently -- like having
two phone lines.
Sipura Phone Adapters (SPA-2002)
This hard phone is another ATA (analog telephone adaptor).
It enables you to connect your POTS (plain old telephone system)
phones to the Internet. Think of it as a phone jack for VoIP.
It has one ethernet port and two RJ11 phone jacks. This is
one of the most feature rich and easy to use ATA that we have
tested. Out of the box, it is configured for DHCP. This means
that it gets its IP address from your DHCP server automatically.
Sipura Phone Adapters (SPA-3000)
The SPA-3000 features VoIP adapter functionality found in
the SPA-2000 with the additional benefit of an integral connection
for legacy telephone network "hop-on, hop-off" applications.
SPA-3000 users will be able to leverage their broadband phone
service connections more than ever by automatically routing
local calls from cell phones and land lines to a VoIP service
provider and vice versa.
